Step 2: Question types

Introduction

Welcome to Step 2!

In Step 1 you were given an introduction to the IELTS Listening test. In Step 2 we will look at the different types of questions that are used in the test.

Outcomes

By the end of Step 2 you will be familiar with:

• the organisation of each section of the Question Booklet
• the instructions
• the different question types in the IELTS Listening test.

You will also have the chance to practise answering many of the different question types.
