IELTS Express
Technical Requirements
To study in IELTS Express, you will first need to check that your computer has the appropriate software. IELTS Express uses:

Adobe Reader
So that you can open and read PDF documents. -
Quicktime
So that you can listen to recordings. -
Java
So that you can record yourself in the speaking activities.
Many computers already have Adobe Reader, QuickTime and Java installed. If your computer does not have any of the above software, you can download it for free after you have enrolled in the course.
Pop-Up Windows
You will also need to allow pop-up windows to play recordings. This is enabled in your browser's options.
Note: if you are using a public computer (e.g., at a library, work or an Internet café), you may need administrator access to download and install Adobe Reader and QuickTime. To get administrator access, talk to the supervisor of your computer.
